This is Ruby, my sister's
dog. Amy & Ruby are once again raising money for the Animal Humane Society's
Walk for Animals. With five locations, AHS cares for over 36,000 unwanted, abused, and
neglected animals each year. Click here to see their
progress and to make a contribution.
Alexandra House
Alexandra House is a non-profit, community based organization
located in the cities of Blaine and Anoka. They provide 24-hour emergency shelter, support
services, and advocacy to battered women and families.
We support Alexandra House through our car shows each year.
Instead of charging admission or entry fees, we ask for donations to Alexandra
House. This spring we collected a car-full of school supplies!
In addition, we hold a toy drive for them in November &
December. Next time you visit the store in the fall, please bring along a new,
unwrapped toy, gift certificate, or cash donation. We'll make sure it gets to kids
who really need it.
